Kaia was baptized at Selbu Lutheran Church on a snowy and slippery Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008. Living with purpose...Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails. (Proverbs 19:21)
Sweet baby shares some special time with Mom and Dad at Selbu.

Life since the wedding...

Dawn after running her new snowblower for three 2-hour sessions to keep up with the snowfall in Spokane 12-18-08.
Yes, I used a yard stick to see how much snow was on the bench outside Dawn's front door.

That is my faithful Blazer! I dropped Dawn at work and then was headed down the freeway when I received the call that the City was closed--which meant the library, too!

This is the view out the front door...no deer today.

Guess we won't be BBQ'ing this weekend.
Jen and Kaia in front of one of the gorgeous trees at the Davenport, 12-12-08.
She is telling us that she is 2 months old.
Kaia visited the doctor and had a shot earlier in the day. So we stop for a quick pic before lunch.
Great Aunt Lynn helped us out by holding Kaia while we ate yummy Crab Louie's!

Our amazing Tigercats win another State Football Title.
Kirk and I traveled to Seattle to visit my parents, Mick and Kren.
We managed to squeeze in Christmas shopping, a movie, dinner in Federal Way on the way to the Tacoma Dome and the Seahawk game. A GREAT weekend...
Including this AMAZING cloud formation as we looked at Mt. Rainer from Southcenter.
Auntie Dawn holding Kaia after decorating her "funny" Husky Christmas tree.

Obviously, Kaia was exhausted after all the Thanksgiving festivities.
Kren and Mick joined us at Dawn's house...before the snow arrived in December.

PK (Precious Kaia) arrives at Aunt Dawn's for some grilled turkey...
An Apple Cup Victory for the Cougars--in double overtime!

Pete and Peggy joined us for a great day of tailgating and a Coug Victory!
